The Survey

Metal-THINGS aims at filling an important observational hole in the very well studied sample of nearby galaxies of the THINGS survey. While a wealth of data is available at UltraViolet, InfraRed, and Radio wavelengths, a spectroscopic homogeneous dataset for this sample was until now missing. Metal-THINGS fills in this gap, and allows to tackle other scientific issues not possible before.
